What is an RV inspection?

An RV Inspection is like a home inspection for your RV. This evaluation reviews multiple components on the overall construction and systems of your RV. A comprehensive report will be provided, illustrated with detailed photos and videos where applicable. The report identifies any deficiencies along with potential life safety issues.

How the process works:

Easy as 1-2-3, a few steps must take place before an actual inspection is scheduled. Select an inspection type from the list above. Provide year, make, model and location of RV. Once a date is confirmed, agreements will be sent to review and approve.

What you can expect:

Email notifications will provide updates along the way. Online access to view your inspection report through Home Guage will be sent within 24 to 48 hours following the inspection. As the client, you are the only one with access to this report.

Here to serve:

We pride ourselves on excellent customer service and are committed to collaborating with you, as the customer, to ensure your inspection needs are met. We value honesty, trust and putting people first.

Levels of RV Inspections

  • The Premier level covers over 150 points of inspection and includes 90 to 100 photos and videos where applicable with annotation describing the items that have been identified during the detailed observation. This is the most comprehensive RV Inspection. The Premier package includes all of the evaluation points found in the Life Safety, Essential and Essential Plus inspections combined. Additionally, this inspection covers items such as check the water heater bypass valves, verify signal booster is operational for antenna, list manufacture’s build sheet if available and run fluid samples if applicable (oil, transmission and coolant).

  • The Essential Plus level covers over 100 points of inspection and delivers a report consisting of 55 to 65 photos describing the items that have been identified and detailed in the Essential PLUS RV Inspection document. Items in this observation include sealant evaluation, battery condition check, tire condition exam, generator operation test (if applicable) to list a few of the extra items checked during this inspection.

  • The Essential level reviews 50 plus points of inspection This report will consist of 40 to 55 photos describing the items that have been identified in the detailed Essential RV Inspection document. The Essential Level is a step above a Life Safety Inspection, where the report goes into a more in-depth look at overall RV construction and systems in your RV.

  • In a Life Safety RV Inspection 15 Life and Safety items are evaluated to cover potentially catastrophic points of failure. Basic photos, 10 to 15 of the RV are included in this inspection.
